ICXI is the only global institute that measures, accredits and teaches experience excellence across all three domains — Customer, Employee and Patient. The framework, the Academy and the Standards apply equally to each. Whichever experience you champion, ICXI is the benchmark behind you.

Ambassadors are appointed to one, two or all three tracks — whatever reflects the breadth of your influence. There is no additional cost, and no cap, on holding multiple tracks.

SISTER PROGRAMME

From assessment to recognition: the Experience Excellence Awards

The Experience Excellence Awards is ICXI’s sister programme — the global recognition platform for organisations whose experience excellence has been independently assessed and verified. Where ICXI sets the standards and assessment frameworks, the EEI Awards is the public recognition that follows.

For Ambassadors, this opens a second, distinct pathway to add value to the organisations you already serve or advise: a credible route from internal belief to externally recognised excellence.

STEP 01

The assessment

The client undertakes a formal experience assessment against the ICXI 12 Pillars Framework — across CX, EX or PX — delivered by ICXI or an Accredited Consulting Partner. The Ambassador can introduce, brief, and accompany.

STEP 02

The verification

Maturity is independently verified at one of four levels — Reactive, Aware, Structured or Proactive. Results are evidenced, not self-reported, and benchmarked against the global ICXI dataset.

STEP 03

The recognition

Organisations that meet the criteria become eligible for the Experience Excellence Awards — the global platform that turns verified assessment into public credibility, sector benchmarking and award-winning visibility.

The Annual Ambassador Awards

The EEI Awards programme includes a dedicated annual recognition for ICXI Ambassadors — celebrating those whose voice, contribution, introductions and thought leadership have most advanced the experience profession in the preceding year. Presented alongside the global Experience Excellence Awards. Open to Ambassadors at every level, with Distinguished Ambassadors and Fellows eligible for permanent legacy recognition.

For Ambassadors

When you recommend a client to the experience assessment route to the EEI Awards, you give them an independent, evidence-based pathway from internal belief to externally recognised excellence — and you strengthen the work you already do with them. The client gains a credible global benchmark; you gain a deeper conversation rooted in evidence rather than opinion. Introductions our Ambassadors make are recognised — the form that recognition takes is agreed personally during your onboarding conversation.

To recommend a client, simply email ambassadors@icxi.com with a one-paragraph introduction. ICXI handles the conversation from there. There are no targets and no obligation — if a client is the right fit, the route is open to them with you as the introducer.

The programme is designed to fit the way you already work — whether you are a consultant, a practitioner, an author, an educator, a clinician or a senior executive inside an organisation. The role flexes around your platform, your calendar and your voice. Some Ambassadors mention ICXI weekly, some quarterly, some only at the moments where it adds real weight to what they are saying. That is how it should be.

An introduction is often the most valuable thing you can offer — and Ambassadors are recognised for the introductions they make, on terms agreed personally during onboarding.

HOW TO ENGAGE

Two pathways into the programme

The ICXI Ambassador Programme is invitation-led. The primary route is partner nomination — by an ICXI partner, an existing Ambassador, or a colleague who knows your work. We also accept direct expressions of interest from established CX, EX and PX practitioners we may not yet be aware of.

Nominate an Ambassador

If you are an ICXI partner, an existing Ambassador, or someone whose professional opinion ICXI trusts, this is the form for you. Use it to put forward a CX, EX or PX practitioner whose voice already moves a market and whose work would be lifted — not diluted — by an ICXI credential.

Reviewed within 7 days · Candidate contacted within 10 days · Live as an Associate Ambassador within 30 days, in the typical case.

Apply to be considered

If you are a CX, EX or PX leader who believes you would be a strong fit but does not yet have an ICXI partner connection, you are welcome to express interest directly. We review every submission, but the programme remains invitation-led: we cannot guarantee acceptance, and most successful candidates ultimately come through partner nomination.

Acknowledgement

ICXI confirms receipt and the next step. Partners are kept informed at each stage.

Internal review

ICXI completes a short review against the Six A’s. Direct applications may be held for matching with a partner sponsor.

Day 7 – 10

Candidate contacted

ICXI reaches out to schedule a 30-minute introductory call — referencing the partner introduction where applicable.

Day 10 – 17

Introductory call

Track(s) discussed. Fit confirmed. Onboarding agreed.

Live as Associate Ambassador
